So looks like it is some other issue. I just upgraded my Sony Vaio from Windows 8. It didn't run constantly before the upgrade. Does anyone know if there's a fix? This thread is locked. But the Control Center setting is unresponsive now. It seems paradoxical right now, at idle the fan speed is high, and if I work the CPU a little bit it will quiet down, and then at max CPU load it will turn it back up. Otherwise will have to reformat It speeds up the fan to full speed and then ramps them down again.
