The safety officer will call roll to insure that every member of their department is present and accounted for. If an employee is not accounted for, the safety officer will immediately notify the safety manager and emergency personnel that an employee is missing and may still be in the building.

Employees will not re-enter the building for any reason until the safety manager or a senior member of management has given the all clear signal. The company fully accepts the obligations placed upon it by the various laws and regulations covering health and safety. The company requires its Chief Executive to ensure that the following policy is implemented and to report annually on its effectiveness.

The purpose of this policy is to establish general standards for health and safety within the workplace and, under the guidance of the Safety Manager, distribute responsibility for the adherence of the policy to all managers, supervisors, and other employees within each department.
