Mcafee virus scan wont run

When I go to run a manual virus scan in Mcafee the Mcafee homepage just blinks as if its going to the scan menu, but instead it just blinks right back to the Mcafee Security Center homepage. Then I decided to try to run Virtual Technician to repair my issue, but when the Virtual Technican scans for Mcafee Products installed on the system it says it can't find any. For added protection, back up the registry before you modify it. Then, you can restore if a problem occurs.

Thanks, mstroz Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options I have tried to run the Farbar Recovery Scan Tool to post the results. So it doesn't look like I will be able to run this Scan Tool either. Upon reboot of the pc, chkdsk insisted on running. It ran and fixed some errors.

I then tried the Farbar Recovery tool again. This time it ran ok See logs below.
